ZV-1
I’d like to go on a little rant about the Sony ZV-1 and how it’s changed my approach to photography.
I know the best camera is the one you have with you. I always thought I have that covered with the iPhone. Don’t get me wrong, the iPhone takes some amazing photos but they almost always look like a snapshot. I would love to drag my a6400 or Nex-6 everywhere I go, but they can be bulky and very distracting. I decided to actually downgrade in size and get the ZV-1 which is a very compact camera in comparison. I am taking this camera with me almost everywhere I go. It reminds me to keep looking for photos.
This camera also feels like a film camera like one I owned as a kid. It feels like that but I get the instant gratification of looking at my shot. All in all I love this camera and I’m so happy to be a photographer again.
