Goodbye Mini 2
I’ve finally decided to sell my DJI Mini 2. Honestly, it feels like a bit of a loss. That drone has been with me on plenty of trips. It was my first step into capturing aerial shots. But as much as I respect the Mini 2, I rarely reach for it anymore. The camera quality just doesn’t meet the standards I want in my setup. It’s a solid little drone. It just doesn’t give me what I need now.
But I’m not letting go of a drone without having something ready to replace it. I’ve put together a new compact kit for my DJI Mini 3 Pro. This setup has been in the works for a while. It’s finally in a good spot for work and travel. I’ll share photos of the setup, but here’s the idea. I wanted something small that I could bring with me to work every day. This kit gives me the essentials without any extras.
There’s this saying, “The best camera is the one in your pocket.” That’s exactly what I wanted here. I can grab the Mini 3 Pro without overthinking. I just toss it in the bag, ready to go if I see something worth capturing.
